Insurance and Qualifications

At Mountains to Water all our staff and instructors are covered by professional indemnity insurance so you are fully covered in the event of accident or injury during our activities.

Limits of Indemnity:

Employers Liability £10,000,000

Public and or Products Liability £5,000,000

Errors & Omissions £100,000

We strongly recommend that you take out personnel accident insurance while undertaking any of our activities.

In the UK there is no requirement for an outdoor company to hold any qualifications unless they are operating with persons under 18 years old.

However, we strongly believe that this is an inadequate state of affairs and therefore only employ appropriately qualified instructors who hold current and up to date national governing body awards. All our guides hold a first aid qualification and hold one or more of the following qualifications designed for professionals working in the outdoor industry.

At Mountains to Water we belong to a number of associations, this shows that we are a professional company who will adhere to safe practices and legislation.

All our staff have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
